我尊敬的大哥大 Pat Martino 在 1998 年重新發行的 "We'll Be Together Again" (註)
內頁封底，有這麼幾句話：

「 真誠的音樂 如所有真誠的藝術
   是經驗的分享 而非批判
   讚頌未見增其一分
   貶抑亦無能損其一毫
   它的世界容或潮起潮落
   然而它茁壯 且始終如一
   它籠罩一切所及
   撫慰聆聽者與表演者的心靈    」
